Uniform Policy

At Cliffdale Primary Academy we value our school uniform as a symbol of belonging to our school community.  The children often associate what they wear with where they are going, therefore putting on their uniform can support their transition to school.  Similarly, changing into a PE kit, indicates it’s time for a different activity.  As a school we understand the challenges our children face with their sensory needs.  We believe it is extremely important that the children feel as comfortable as possible and wear clothes that support their needs, along with their own well-being.  The children’s attendance plays an important part to their education, and we are keen to support families with encouraging the children to wear the right clothes for school. 

The uniform colours and kit are listed below. It is not necessary for uniform to be embroidered with the school logo and as such items in the appropriate colours can be purchased from a wide range of retailers.

Jewellery: The only jewellery permitted is stud earrings for pupils with pierced ears.  All jewellery must be removed for PE.
