Lower School Topic Day Launch

Wow! What a messy start to the term Lower School have had.

This term the children will be learning all about different materials and their properties, whether they are hard, soft, hot, cold or even wet or dry.

During our topic launch day, the children were introduced to lots of different types of materials.

Every class had a great time making messy mud pies, delicious fruit smoothies and experimenting with making fizzy potions. Not only did the children enjoy making a mess, they also had to clean some up in the hall that the teachers hadn’t tidied away!

They learnt how to use a broom, dustpan, and brush and even a hoover. By the time the children had finished the hall was spotless.

The children had a marvellous day and are now looking forward to finding out about all the different messy mixtures they will be making over the next term.
