Lower School Topic Day Launch Spring 2022

Lower School’s topic this term is “Fun on the Farm.”

The children are going to be learning about all of the different types of animals that you might find on the farm.

The children have had a great start to the topic—some classes have visited Staunton Farm to see what animals they could find. The children had a brilliant time, they saw goats, pigs, ducks and a very friendly cow!

The classes also took part in a scarecrow making competition. The children worked really hard and were very proud of what they made. Some of the scarecrows looked really familiar!

Lower school are looking forward to many more trips to Staunton Farm this term. They will be learning to label all of the different animals, identify them by their features or the sounds they make and discover where they might find them on the farm.
