Friday 6th July was a beautiful hot and sunny evening; perfect for a ‘Family Fun Fayre’!  Over 250 people came through the gates for a great evening.  We had lots of our current Cliffdale families come for the fun, alongside some of our families whose children left us last year and some of our new families whose children will be starting at Cliffdale in September.  It was wonderful to see everyone together have a lovely time.

There was plenty to keep the whole family entertained, children and adults alike.  The bouncy castle, face painting, ‘yucky dip’, wheel of fortune, human fruit machine and deal or no deal were among just some of the games to keep everyone busy.  Alongside those were the ever popular bottle and chocolate tombolas, the teddy tombola and the big raffle where everyone spent some money hoping to be a winner!

No one went hungry, with the wonderful BBQ burgers and sausages that were for sale and if you wanted dessert, there were 3 flavours of ice cream to choose from with sprinkles on top!

Lion Class had their own ‘up-cycling’ stall where they created some wonderful prints in frames alongside some Cliffdale themed tote bags to sell; they were very popular indeed and by the end of the evening they had sold almost all of them!

There was also a disco to keep everyone entertained, playing their favourite tunes to have a dance too!

We were also very lucky to be treated to a special show from the ‘Identical School of Dance’, who performed a dance for us that they had recently done on stage at the New Theatre Royal.  The dance troop featured our very own Mollie, who on this occasion was right out the front taking centre stage!  The dancers were brilliant and everyone cheered and clapped really loudly when they had finished.

The evening finished with pulling out lots of tickets for the Big Raffle; there were plenty of happy winners, but young Brandon from Koala class was possibly the happiest of them all with his new farm tractor!!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and joined our Family Fun Fayre this year and helped to make it such a huge success!
