The queues formed quickly outside the front of school in eager anticipation of the doors opening for the Christmas Fayre at 12 o’clock! This year’s Fayre was once again very well attended with at least 300 people coming through the doors to have a great time!
The school hall was filled with lots of stalls for children to have a go on… Santa’s Chimneys, Olaf’s Snowballs, Pot Luck in the snow, Penguin Skittles, Deal or No Deal and knock the elf off the shelf! There was also the ever popular Christmas face painting, with lots of children sitting patiently to have a wonderful design painted on their face…with quite a bit of sparkly glitter featuring on many!
But of course the busiest person at the Christmas Fayre was Father Christmas! He managed to come to Cliffdale once again, to see all of the good boys and girls…and there were lots of them! Over 120 children went through the winter walkway to see Father Christmas in his fabulous Grotto and tell him what they would like him to bring for them on Christmas Eve!
The tombola’s were popular with the grown-ups as well as the ‘Big Raffle’ with some fantastic prizes to be won and there was plenty to eat and drink in the Christmas Café.
Once again, the Cliffdale Christmas fayre was a huge success and well attended by lots of families past and present, friends and neighbours. A big thank you to everyone who came to the fayre and helped with our fund raising.
