A great day was had by all today, raising money for the BBC Children in Need Appeal alongside finishing the end of our ‘Friendship Week’.
Children and staff came to school wearing their favourite Pudsey costumes including spotty and stripy clothes!
The children took part in a variety of different ‘friendship’ and ‘Pudsey activities’ in class, which included Pudsey arts and crafts, face painting, drama work and biscuit decorating.
In Assembly we remembered why we were raising money; for children who are poorly or who need somewhere safe to play. Certificates were given to the children with the best costumes in each class.
The choir sang some songs with us all and we looked at some classes friendship work from the week. Everyone had brought in lots of ‘loose change’ to fill in a giant Pudsey on the floor with coins; there was nearly £100 in loose change this year!
A fantastic day was had by all and a huge £281.45 was raised for BBC Children in Need. Well done everyone ~ a really fantastic effort!
