Our School Council decided that we should have ‘Crazy Hair and Crazy Socks’ for Children in Need day today, as well as wearing our Pudsey outfits. So everyone came to school in an assortment of outfits and crazy hair today and looked great!
Today was also the end of ‘Friendship Week’. All week long classes have been coming together to take part in a range of activities from friendship bangle making, to teaching each other friendship clapping games and sharing art activities. Everyone agrees it’s great to have friends!
There even more friendship and Pudsey activities today; Monkey class even managed to do a Pudsey ‘Bucket’ session…it was great fun!
In Assembly several classes showed some of their brilliant work from friendship week. We sang songs about friends and danced with our friends. We also gave out certificates to the children with the craziest hair, socks and outfits in each class!
We also had a giant Pudsey Bear in the middle of the hall floor and everyone brought in lots of ‘loose change’ to fill it up with coins; there was lots and lots of coins to collect and count!
A fantastic day was had by all and a brilliant £244.88 was raised for BBC Children in Need. Well done everyone ~ a really fantastic effort!
