COVID-19 case numbers are now decreasing across the county in line with the Government Roadmap.
This guidance provides information on what you can and cannot do during the pandemic.
From 17 May face coverings will no longer be recommended for pupils and students in classrooms or communal areas, in all schools and FE providers. Face coverings will also no longer be recommended for staff in classrooms. In all schools and FE providers, we continue to recommend that face coverings should be worn by staff and visitors in situations outside of classrooms where social distancing is not possible (for example, when moving around in corridors and communal areas).
If you are clinically extremely vulnerable, you are no longer advised to shield. However, you should continue to follow the guidance for people who are clinically extremely vulnerable and are advised to continue taking extra precautions to protect yourself, such as limiting close contacts, shopping or travelling at quieter times of the day, keeping rooms ventilated and washing your hands regularly Your employer is required to take steps to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace.
Across the trust we have ensured that we have put in place additional measures to ensure the safety of our pupils and staff please take a look across our COVID-19 Frequently asked Questions to find further details of these measures and answers to the questions that you may have.
